Welcome to the devblog for Repopulate!
This is my current work-in-progress game. The premise is that you are the AI controller on board a huge space station, which for reasons has to restore the population of an alien race. Your task is to firstly manage the station, secondly support and increase the population of aliens on board, and finally find them a new home through procedurally generated solar systems.
I started this blog once I was at a point with the game that I had some basic features working, so the first few posts will be dated quite close together! Subsequent posts will just be as I feel I’ve got something worth talking about; either implementing something cool and new, or overcoming an obstacle, or just something neat.
In the mean time, you can access the games source code on GitHub here. Specifically, the design docs for the game are here – I highly suggest downloading Obsidian and loading them as a vault if you plan to read through them, but GitHub’s plain text should work too.
